When you first schedule a visit, you'll answer questions about your personal preferences and needs for seeking telehealth therapy. Then, choose from a selection of virtual therapists who have your preferences. You'll get information about providers, including gender, language and specialty, so you can choose the right fit for your needs. 

When you purchase a Mind Your Health membership, there's a 3-day wait before you can fully access the membership services. Once you're logged into the Teladoc app and enter the additional information needed, telehealth therapy can be scheduled as soon as 72 hours. 

  1. Use the Teladoc app or go online to schedule your visit
  2. Select “Mental Health” and then choose your therapist
  3. Pick your preferred dates and times for a visit
  4. Your therapist will confirm the date that works best for you both 

Online therapy and counseling visits are scheduled for 45 minutes. Virtual psychiatric visits for new medication evaluations are scheduled for 45 minutes, and medication management follow-up visits are scheduled for 15 minutes.

After your first visit, your therapist will give you suggestions for your care plan. They will tell you how often they recommend visits and how many visits you might have for your treatment
