UnitedHealthcare, Health First reach multi-year agreement that maintains continued network access to the health system

We’ve reached a multi-year agreement with Health First that provides continued, long-term network access to the health system for people enrolled in employer-sponsored commercial plans and Individual Family Plan (IFP).

We thank you for your support and patience throughout this process. We look forward to supporting all of the people throughout Central Florida who depend on us for access to quality and affordable health care.

As a reminder, people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida (Medicaid) continue to have network access to Health First’s hospitals. However, Health First’s physicians remain out of network for people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida.

Health First’s hospitals and its physicians did not previously participate in our Medicare Advantage network and continue to remain out of network.

UnitedHealthcare members should call the number on their health plan ID card if they need assistance or have any questions.
