UnitedHealthcare, LCMC finalize multi-year contract that maintains continued network access to the health system

UnitedHealthcare and LCMC have finalized a new multi-year agreement that provides continued, uninterrupted network access to LCMC’s hospitals and physicians for people enrolled in employer-sponsored commercial plans, including UMR.

As a reminder, people enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, including Group Retiree and Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP), as well as our Medicaid plan, were never impacted by our negotiation. People enrolled in these plans continue to have network access to LCMC’s hospitals, facilities and its physicians.

LCMC's hospitals, facilities and its physicians will be out of network for Individual Family Plan (IFP), effective Jan. 1, 2026.
