UnitedHealthcare Renews Network Relationship with Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona

UnitedHealthcare and Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH) have reached a multi-year agreement.

UnitedHealthcare’s members enrolled in the following plans have continued, uninterrupted access to PCH’s hospital and its providers, effective immediately: 

• Employer-sponsored and individual commercial plans
• UnitedHealthcare Community Plan in Arizona (Medicaid) members were not impacted by this negotiation and will continue to have network access to PCH through a separate agreement. 

Our priority throughout the negotiation was to reach an agreement that was affordable for consumers and employers and to provide the families we serve access to the care they need from the doctors and care providers they know and trust, and this agreement helps accomplish that goal.

Letters are being mailed to impacted members who were previously notified, informing them of our renewed relationship with PCH, and that its hospital and providers remain in-network.
