Valley Health
Valley Health in Virginia and West Virginia to be out of network for UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage individual and Group Retiree plans, beginning Oct. 1, 2026
Valley Health’s hospitals, facilities and physicians throughout Virginia and West Virginia will be out of network for people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage individual plans and Group Retiree plans, beginning Oct. 1, 2026.
Important: People enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) are not impacted by this change. D-SNP members will continue to have network access to Valley Health’s hospitals, facilities and its physicians on and beyond Oct. 1, 2026.
We are in the process of notifying impacted Medicare Advantage members to inform them Valley Health will be out of network so they can make an informed decision regarding their health care options over the next several weeks.
Our top priority is providing people access to the care they need. We want to provide the following information so the people we serve understand the options they have.
