Get help with common member questions 24/7

If you’re a member, you can use the UnitedHealthcare app or sign in to your member account to find answers and complete some common tasks. Browse the questions and answers below to see if your task can be completed online.

If you want to: Find a network doctor, clinic or facility for your plan. (Network providers will generally cost less than providers that are out-of-network.)

What to do:

  1. Sign in to your member account or the UnitedHealthcare app
  2. Look at the top of your screen and choose the Find Care & Costs or Find Care tab
  3. Choose View all care
  4. Use the search bar to type in a provider's name, specialty, area of expertise or a condition

    • View ID card
    • View & print ID card
    • View UCard
    • View & Print UCard member ID
  3. Next, you’ll see your digital member ID card or UCard.
  4. Print it or show the digital member ID card or UCard on your phone at your provider visit.

  1. Sign in to your member account or the UnitedHealthcare app
  2. Look at the top of the first screen and choose one of the options to view your ID card. It may say one of the following:
    • “View ID card”
    • “View & print ID card”
    • “View UCard”
    • “View & Print UCard member ID”
  3. Next, you’ll see your digital member ID card or UCard.
  4. Print it or show the digital member ID card or UCard on your phone at your provider visit.

If you want to: Update contact information, communication preferences or other account settings

What to do:

  1. Sign in to your member account or the UnitedHealthcare app
  2. Go to My Account
  3. Go to Account settings
  4. Choose View all account settings
  5. Choose which areas to edit and save any changes before leaving the page
