Placement

When to place button to the side of the zip plan finder

  • This is the default positioning of the button and may move below as the browser resizes or is placed in smaller layouts
  • When optimizing the height of a sticky banner so it doesn’t become too tall and cover up the rest of the page as it sticks to the top or bottom of the browser
  • When a primary call to action position and content is dense, consider placing to the side to make sure the button stays above or near the fold of the browser across devices

When to place button below the zip plan finder

  • A button can only be deliberately placed below in Adobe Target experiences
  • For longer button labels that may wrap too early in desktop and tablet layouts
  • For tighter, multi-column layouts where there is not enough room to fit button to the side
  • If zip plan finder has additional input fields added (not a scenario at this point)

Mobile considerations

  • If a button falls below either due to length of button or screen size of device, button should expand full-width
