Filters
The filter patterns provide a reference for how filters have been implemented across uhc.com to create common patterns and mental models across unique scenarios. Each filter implementation is usually a unique component within AEM.
When to use
- For narrowing down a long list of items
When not to use
- For re-ordering a long list of items
Anatomy
1. Categories or properties: a set of filter properties within the same topic
2. Selection type: various methods for single select and multi-select are available depending on the needs of the data set and the UI

Filters can usually be found to the left of the items in the filtered list in desktop layouts.

Filters usually move to the tom of the if items in the filtered list and expand full-width.
